Brocade Spanish Rennaisance, Red

Reference : 103-02-0007
Old reference : 11-0012

This is a replica of a spanish renaissance pattern from 16th century. We decided to use silk-rayon brocade construction for change to gain extra stiffness and strength of fabric. Pattern size is 3.5cm, fabric width 75cm. The original can be found in the museum "The Metropolitan Museum of Art" in New York.

Our silk-rayon brocade is a densely woven, strong fabric made of fine threads which makes a true luxury material. It holds its shape well but can be softened by washing. Apart form historical costumes it is also great for any jackets, skirts, close-fitting dresses, corsets, and accessories.
